Dread of Night is a great title. As a cartoonist, I wonder if you have control of your book covers or if your publisher is in the driving seat? With my own books it is definitely a sales, rather than an artistic, decision - which is fair enough. I'm a writer, not a designer. As a cartoonist, you are both!
ReplyDeleteWell ... I hadn't updated my page in a while, I see. I do design/illustration work now. Not so much a cartoonist. Not these days. But since Josh and I self-Published Dread of Night we had full freedom to decide what to use as the cover!
